Q.

Blood drop/strain in poop . Is it matter of concern as it was seen only once ??

A. it can be episodic also but if it persists daily then only meet your doctor. you have to give only breastfeeding /milk to the child till completion of 6 months of age and before 6 months of age if you are giving any type of outside food or complementary feeding it can cause digestion problem in the child. no need to give water also because breast milk contains 80% of water and water also is given after six months of age only. it is advisable to continue the the multi vitamin and supplement medicines given by your doctor.

A. Also Just monitor for another 12 to 24 hours to 48 hours if you ever see blood coming again then there could be a possibility of a stomach infection which is very commonly seen with kids and blood into the poop is a very very common symptom and sign to be seen for a gut infection
