A. Dear mum, though weight of 5 kg is fine, weight gain has been slow. However, do not worry if your child is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 months. Exclusively breastfeed your child till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
