A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not taking enough calories Baby is not agbsorbing the enough calories which thefr baby is taking Baby is burning too many calories . So a proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .

A. Hi Approximately seven kgs of weight is decent enough for a six month old child but that were completely depend on the birth weight of the child was by completing the age of six months it should be at least two times of the birth weight then it is considered quite healthy
