Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to thre type of couggh.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. U Should consult your doctor is not giving proper medicines to the child that’s what you can do as of now because that’s the right thing to be done so you can go ahead with that also if you need you can nebulise your child regularly for that matter
