baby is pooing with green dark color is it fine or need to worry?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. it's fine.. n nothing to worry for this. their are many reasons for dark green color stool ... If your baby is on iron supplements than his/her poop can be dark green in color. If the baby is fed with certain food substance like- green vegetables like spinach, peas, beans or broccoli in the form of purees or soups, the poop can be green. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop. Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes green stools.

U Maybe giving formula feeding to the child or you may be giving any colour green coloured food to the child like spinach or something in that case the motion can be green in colour and also certain times it is normal if it is frequent then it could be due to some infection
