Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child willl take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

As long as your baby is active and normal, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine, showing no discomfort symptoms then nothing to worry. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Use Babyhug tummy roll on. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
