Q.
Baby is having fever (102C) since yesterday..when m giving paracetamol its decreasing again after sometimes it’s coming. Do I need to give antibiotics?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you can wait for 2-3 days with paracetamol and after that also if the fever comes you will have to visit the doctor who will tell you whether it is viral or bacterial and if it is viral then no need of antibiotics but if it is bacterial then only antibiotics are needed

If your baby is 3 to 6 months old and has a temperature up to 102 F (38.9 C) and seems sick or has a temperature higher than 102 F (38.9 C), contact your health care provider.
