baby is 17 month doesn't speak allot if words papa she is saying again and again and try to say face few words is it normal

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. most of the babies by the age of 1 year start speaking monosyllables like mama papa Dada etc as the baby will be e growing the vocabulary of the baby will be increasing gradually

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello there mam, please do not worry about it too much and don’t pressurize the kid to speak. Try to give him soaked almonds and after removing the peel. It will help him to speak up. Also, try to make him learn and recite poems in a playful manner. Kids usually speak up in company of other kids. So try to take him to park or somewhere where he can play with other kids.
