baby girl 2yr 2 mnth old... body temp was99.5 so i gave her medicine kuch hours k liye temp normal hua nut phir abi 99 h so wat should i do ??

A. baby girl 2 yr 2 month old .. body temp was 99.5 so i gave her medicine , rite now temp is 98.4 but her body is very hot specially stomach and back what should i do ??

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamolmm in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

A. 99 Is completely normal temperature you do not need to give medicine to the child if it again crosses 99 even if it is 99° fahrenheit then you can give medicine to the child but as of now I would advise you not to give any medicine to your child if it is only 99° fahrenheit
