Q.
Baby birth weight was 2.8kg and he had jaundice couple of times in the first 2 weeks. Now he is exactly 2 months old and weighs 4.4kg. Is he underweight? What is the ideal weight he should be taking into consideration, his birth weight?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. 1200 g your child has gained which is an excellent weight gain I would say even after reduction of the weight your child has picked up pretty well on the gain of the child so that is going good you don’t have to worry about the weight gain of the child
