A. After 1 year, you can give variety of foods to the baby which are fresh and home cooked. Include foods like rice with dal, chapati with paneer gravy, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk, coconut water, dalia, khichdi, eggs, mixed vegetable soup, chicken and fish curry with rice, etc. Mother's should also eat freshly prepared foods including dry fruits, brown rice, fish, chicken, eggs, avocado and other seasonal fruits.
