At what age baby will start speaking frequently?

A. Most babies start speaking frequently between 18 months to 2 years. Around 1 year, babies may say a few simple words like “mama” or “dada.” By 18 months, they often use 10–20 words, and by 2 years, they may start combining two or more words to form simple sentences like “want milk.” Between 2 to 3 years, their vocabulary grows rapidly, and they begin speaking more clearly and frequently. Every child develops at their own pace, but if by 2 years your child isn’t using any words or shows limited interest in communication, it’s a good idea to consult a pediatrician or speech therapist.
