Q.

at 6 weeks my baby has been given polio, DTP, hib and hepatitis vaccines however rotavirus and pneumonia vaccines are not given to him as doctor said it is not compulsory. please advise rotavirus and pneumonia vaccines should be given or not. if yes, what can be done in future as first dose of these vaccines at 6 weeks is missed.

A. rota vaccine is compulsory Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required
