Q.
#Askthexperts our 5 month baby has this constant issue of colic. Any suggestions on preventive measures etc to be followed? Seeing the baby in distress is quite agonizing. Though we've been using colic aid, tummy roll on etc. These has been less or zero effect.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut .
other factors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each feed.
Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suggested b hiy doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .
