A. Hello dear parent! Your baby is only a little behind the ideal weight. A little plus or minus in weight is alright. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months and triples by one year completion. Give easily digestible homemade foods like homemade Cerelac, mashed bananas, ragi, apple purée, daal or chaaval paani after 6 months completion. Continue breastfeeding.
