A. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluatiodn. some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

A. White spots or patches are usually due to dryness in the skin so you can apply any good cream or moisturiser otherwise it may be due to fungal infection skin problem and sometimes would be due to some issue associated in the skin so it would be good for you to get it examine with your doctor once
