Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. the weight depends upon the birth weight of the child but on an average the weight should be around 6 kg to 8kg something but many times the weight of the child is dependent upon the diet the child is receiving as well as on the genetic patterns

It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Give your baby easily digestible homemade healthy foods and keep hydrated all day. Continue breastfeeding.
