#asktheexperts What’s the reason for Green colour stools and what measures have to be taken?

A. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency ofx the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor. x

A. Green stools are very common with kids and most commonly associated with formula milk if your child is not having formula milk still if the green colour motion is there that is completely normal for for the child in this age so nothing to be worried
