Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello good evening !! Babies initially reduce weight their birth weight by 1-2 weeks after birth and regain by 3-5 weeks. however on an average increase 400-700gm per ,by 5-6 months Babies double their birth weight. The ideal weight range should be 2.8- 4.2kg Exclusive breast milk or formula milk is suggested,feed every two hours and sound sleep of 13-18hours a day is required.
