#asktheexperts what kind of steam inhalation should be given to babies

A. you should have a steamer in a room which is producing steam. you have to own it so that steam is generated and the room is is filled with steam. you have to sit with the child at a distance in that room away from the steamer. the child takes(inhales) the steam from a distance and this will help in decreasing the nasal blockage as well as cough and cold and this phenomena is known as indirect steam inhalation

A. Hello, To help their babies and young children, parents will still take a pan, hot water and a pinch of salt and have their children inhale the hot water vapour tented under a towel. This method hangs on tenaciously despite the fact that inhaling hot water vapour does not have the desired effect and there are risks involved
