#asktheexperts what is the right age to stop breast feeding ? My baby is 1 year and 8 months old she breastfeeds only in the night and does not take the cow milk in the night

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it is after 2 yr . and food. Containing of green leafy vegetable and fruit and good protein sources like paneer and egg or soyabeans . It is required for proper weight and height gain and also for boosting immunity and good skin and hairs . Protein powder like pediasure can be given to baby after 2 yr of age .

Hi One year is actually the correct age if you want to quit breastfeeding if you want to continue after that it’s your choice but now it is your child is almost 1 1/2 years if you want to continue breastfeeding you can otherwise it is a good time for you to quit breastfeeding and in the night time also try to give cows milk only to the child if the child is hungry
