Dr Sameer awadhiyaFather of a 12 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. pneumococcal vaccination is given because to protect against different organisms causing pneumonia in children it is given at 6 weeks and 10 weeks and then 14 weeks then the booster is given at 15 months of age
