#asktheexperts weekly meal plan to start solid for 6 month

A. Hello mom initially start with liquid consistency diet such as dal or rice water or vegetable soups or fresh fruit juices and once baby accepts it well you can then gradually move to semi solids and mashed foods such as steamed vegetables or fruit purée or porridge made with ragi or multigrain mix or suji or kichidi etc . Always remember to start one thing at a time and then gradually increase the quantity, variety and number of meals. And alternate it with your feed

A. Hi mom once ur baby completes six months then u can start with cerelac,daal ka pani,ripe banana apple puree,ragi porridge,pumpkin puree etc as the first food. start with one meal in a day and give milk rest of the day as demanded by the baby. After few days u can start giving two meals in a day
