#asktheexperts we are a jain family. What food to be included in a child’s diet to fullfil protein requirements

A. Hello! Regular dals, lentils, pulses, legumes that are soaked overnight and cooked the next day. Paneer, curd are usually good with it. Soy products also helps in adding a good amount of protein in the diet.

Legumes and all the kind of millets and grains I am quite certain that being Jenny you would not have a problem with these vegetarian protein so this is a very proceed with and that is what you can give to the child and all the diet that you prepared at your home because Jain food is very rich and very healthy and more you can include dry fruits in the diet of your child
