A. seems fine it should double the birth weight by 5 month of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

A. Ideal weight of a 6 months old baby boy should be between 6.2 to 8 kgs depending on birth weight and feeding patterns. Every week, weight gain of 200-240 gms us considered good for the infants. Now, you can also introduce semi solid foods like lentil puree, apple, pear and carrot puree, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc. as it will help in gaining weight.
