#asktheexperts sir my baby passed motion 3 times today is it normal?

A. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of of of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age

A. Yup Absolutely it is very very normal child can pass motion 5 to 6 times also in a day till the time it is not diarrhoea or any difficulty to the child or it is extremely watery it is going to be a question of concern but as of now it would be considered absolutely absolutely
