#asktheexperts Sir, my baby is 8 months old now. Can I start adding dry dates powder to Purees and Porridges?

A. yes, Dates should be introduced in small portions to test how the baby reacts to this new food. They can be introduced with other fruits-one at a time. Dates are nutrient-rich and are packed with a good variety and amounts of minerals and vitamins which are essential for the growth of your baby.

A. Yes you can you can be adding it from the age of six months itself it’s the most healthy substitute for sugar otherwise you can also go ahead with using jaggery powder sometime if you want to that is also a healthy substitute which we normally suggested to use in place of sugar when you want to you something sweet
