Q.
#asktheexperts Respected Doctor My newborn baby girl is just 25 days old.her birth weight is 3.10 kg.she suffered with mild jaundice on 4 th day... bilirubin level is 13.5.after photo therapy bilirubin level came to Normal...she lose her weight to 2.66 kg during discharge...she gained 2.87 kg in last week...but still she didn't reach her birth weight.. Can you please give some tips/advice to increase her weight....

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning it is because of jaundice at the child was not able to reach the birth weight nothing to worry about just make sure that you give mother's milk at regular intervals and massage your child everyday
