Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gracdually increased up till at least three mealfs in a day

Start with 2-3 tsps of food and then increase as days pass. Give either Dal Ka Pani or rice Ka Pani or rice porridge or mashed carrot or any one vegetable puree or clear vegetable soup or any one fruit puree or stewed pear or stewed apple.
