Q.

#asktheexperts Our baby is 7 months old, since we started weaning she started constipating, even 3 times we have to give a suppository. is it common or should we consult a pediatric gastroenterologist ?

A. Actually you may not be giving enough amount of water fibres and fluids in the diet and general which is why the child is constipated which is common to be seen in this age because they are having something new with the system takes time to digest and with water and fluid it gets easier so please try and include more of it into the diet
