#asktheexperts Our baby is 26 days old. For the last 24 hours, he hasn’t been taking breast milk directly, but he drinks well from the bottle. So we gave about 15 ml from the bottle and then switched to breastfeeding — after that, he feeds easily from the breast. We usually give formula milk 1–2 times a day. but from last 24 hours breastfeeding he is struggling so much before

A. If your child is not very much comfortable with breastfeeding then you can give formula but if you have good amount of milk then express your breastfeed and give it to the child with the medium of bottle that’s much better than giving formula a small age
