#asktheexperts our 8 month old baby boy yesterday had some blood in his stool. though the stool was normal and there was no puss. we even checked today for any blood but his stool was normal and no blood. is this a concern as sudden blood in his stool? though no other symptoms of stomach infection and it happened just once yesterday

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 days agoA. First of all, we have to find out what is the reason of that bleeding. Is there any anal fissure because of constipation? If yes, then, that will be the reason. If it is coming directly from the stomach, then it has to be evaluated.
