#asktheexperts our 3 month old baby is vomitting and spitting up 2-3 times a day even if he is burped also for the past 2 days he has been passing loose motion. Should we be concerned doctor or is this regular ?

A. it's normal for small children to regurgitate a small amount of milk after breastfeeding. if it's less than 10 ml, there's no cause for concern, and no treatment is needed. curd-like milk is typical. if regurgitation exceeds this, check for gastric issues; giving 3 drops of domstals and waiting half an hour before feeding can help. to reduce regurgitation, increase burping time. milk can sometimes exit through the nose due to the shared nasal and oral cavity pathways, which is also normal. see a doctor if vomiting is frequent and in large quantities. s
