Q.
#asktheexperts Normally My 3 month old was pooping for 3 - 4 times a day... Suddenly since 2 3 days, my son is pooping just a single or twice a day ... and he is crying loud at night like a colicky and when I check I get to know that he is having some pain while pooping.. what is the reason for this??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry aboutd the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

See little bit of pain is completely normal to be seen during this time in a child pooping and pooping a couple of times in a days also also normal pooping less times in the days also normal and this is all and all with what you were mentioning into your all these things are totally normal to be seen
