Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. this occurs due to weather changes or simple cold and some times infection.
kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

Its Going to be good if you start nebulising your child that way you will see your child will get better relief and apart from that medication can only be prescribed by your doctor since your child is too small it’s better that you go ahead with the consultation with your paediatrician
