#asktheexperts My wife is not able to lactate properly. it's been over a month since the delivery of a girl but the mother is not able to lactate. what could be the reasons behind it?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Could be because of hormonal disturbances or also if there are any issues like hypothyroidism etc. Ask her to take food rich in proteins like eggs,non veg dry fruits and nuts powder ,milk with protein powder etc and atleast 2.5 litres of water per day

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good afternoon there can be many reasons for the same I would recommend that as a remedy I would suggest that you should ask your wife to take Himalaya shatavari powder with milk twice a day
