Q.

#asktheexperts My son is diagnosed with urticaria and the paeditrician has advised for hicope(hydroxyzine) and omnecortil (steroid). Is it advisable to take hydroxizine and steroid at such a tender age? isn't it harmful? can only calapur lotion do the job?

A. Mam steroids are actually not good to be used in such a small age so you can ask your doctor if you can wait for sometime let your child reach a particular age and then if you can give this medicine because your child is actually very small to have steroids in this age
