#asktheexperts my son is 9 months old and he is just 7.3 kgs now. His weight doesn't seem to increase much. we give him ragi matt, rice, fruits and veggies too. any suggestions to increase his weight healthily. I want him to be on average weight not expecting too much too

A. Dear mum, weight of 7.3 kg is a normal weight for 9 months old baby, do not worry. You can dry fruits powder like almonds, walnuts. Add ghee to baby’s food because ghee is energy dense. You can give eggs and non veg foods Continue to breastfeed and give milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Variety of pulses and legumes. Give 3 to 4 meals a day and up to three fourth katori every time.
