#asktheexperts My son is 5 months and 14 days old, but he weighs around 6.5 kg. Is this weight normal or below expectations? Please suggest how we can increase our baby's weight? Thank you, Doctor.

A. Madam your child should be at least 2.5 kg more than the birth weight by completing the time of 5.5 years if your child has gained that much amount of weight over the birth weight then this is normal otherwise you can start giving formula to the child
