#asktheexperts My son is 3.3 yrs , he has wax which becomes hard in the ear and goes inside the ear hole when he tries to rub with finger , this wax will harm further or it will come out normally , kindly suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is not possible for you to clean the wax from inside but yes you can clean it from outside. with the help cotton cloth. you can clean the external earx as well as the wax which has drained outside from the ear. for impacted wax drops are available which will be given by your doctor and if they are severely impacted then the doctor will removex it with the help of instruments.
a visit with a pediatrician or a ent doctor is required.

SanthoshiMom of a 1 yr 9 m old girl1 Year agoA. The best way to remove earwax is by using a soft washcloth dipped in warm water. First, dip the washcloth in warm water and squeeze it out to get rid of excess water. Then use it to wipe around the outer area of the baby’s ear to gradually clean any earwax that’s trickled outside. Most of the wax will fall out on its own. The remaining can be wiped off.
