Q.

#asktheexperts my son is 11 months old and his weight is 9 kg. Is his weight is good? because my family member and other people are saying he looks weak but he is super active and teething also. He got 4 teeths till now but his weight is my concern now.

A. Hi no it's okay.. your kid's weight is as per age..also during the teething phase kids suffer from loss of appetite and slow weight gain.. don't try to force feed your child

A. hi dear There are three reasons why babies do not gain weight: not taking in enough calories, not absorbing calories or burning too many calories. Full-term newborn infants should take in about 1.5 to 2 ounces of breast milk or formula about every 3 hours. Premature infants need more calories than term babies.
