#asktheexperts my son is 1 yrr and 7 month I'm consider abt his height and weight he is just 9 kg he is rejecting food how can I increase his weight plz dr

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 7 months old Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

To help the child gain weight, include fat and protein rich foods in the diet like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, rice water, banana, avocado, milkshakes with dry fruits, eggs, chicken, legumes, ghee and 550-650 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids.
