#asktheexperts My son is 1 year old , he not double his birth weight by 1 year looks very thin , He eats well, plays well and achieving all milestones. I am Very Much worried about his weight. Birth weight is 2.76 and now he is 7.4 kg only . urine culture test , thyroid test everything is normal. But y he is not gaining proper weight. We feed well balanced nutritious food. younger childrens than him looks big than him.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. at 1 year 7.4 is not very underwear so nothing to worry about and just continue giving proper food intake to the baby
You just need to give your baby proper nutritious diet which includes more of green leafy vegetables sprouted grains and cereals and fruits along with proper liquid intake which will help your baby develop soon
