#asktheexperts my son is 1 month old and facing rash issue in neck ,arms and he was detected jaundice n kept in nicu for phototherapy plz help

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly apply moisturizing lotion (any good brand like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc ) or virgin coconut oil on the skin 4 to 5 times per day and if the problem still continues for more than two weeks then meet your doctor.
use moisturizing soap.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy on the skin.
avoid using hard wxater for bath.
for excessive dry and skin peeling please apply moisturizing cream / lotion at more frequent interval to control the condition and then decrease the frequency.
