Depending upon the rate of the problem that is there usually I would suggest you having a surgery is very convenient and it’s a very common surgery to be seen but if you wanna go ahead with the other option you can try that if it helps there is no harm because surgery is a very last option prior to that everything the child is good with it then continue with that otherwise you can go for surgery
