#asktheexperts my son cries a lot and then he farts and after that he is ok... sometimes he wakes up crying farts and then is ok... why is this happening is it because of colic or gas? He is mixed fed... breast feeding supplemented by formula... Aptamil... Also we changed his formula from enfamil to aptamil few days back but this causes a lot of froth... can the froth b a reason for this painful farts

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. he is facing gaseous issues To combat discomfort caused by gases in the babies you need to burp them properly post every feeding session, give few minutes of tummy time regularly to release out the gases. You can also give gastica drops or Himalaya bonnisan drops

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good afternoon it is never advisable to change the brand of the formula until and unless there is a major issue so I would recommend that you should try to continue using the same old brand
