#asktheexperts My periods after my second delivery is very irregular. The cycle is sometimes 20 days, sometimes 40 days. I use medium menstrual cups and on the second and the third day, I need to empty the cups every 2 hrs. The flow is very high. Is this normal? I was not experiencing this pre pregnancy.

A. The first couple of cycles after giving birth will be heavy and also painful and it will take even up to one year for them to become regular.Write Your Answer Here
