#asktheexperts my nipples are flat from the day of discharge from hospital I am trying to breast feed some times he feed without issue but some time not so i also give him formula by ktori chmmch but after 3 month he cried very much by Ktori chmmch so i give him bottle of Philips avent because some one say it is good for combination feeding . but now he breast feed in the night or when he is in sleepy condition or whenever he wants not always his feeding time is also decreases as comparison before .i don't want to give up and expect that one day he does breast feed without any issue

You should massage the breast towards nipple before start feeding the baby and if your milk flow is enough then feed on breast milk and you san express milk abd feed through feeder to the baby if baby is not able to latch directly from breast but try to feed directly from breast firstv

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children4 years agoA. you can use nipples shield to feed the baby of you have flat nipples yes I can understand it is fine to give express milk with breast pump it also stimulate the milk flow more you nurse milk will increase you can take lactation supplement as lactare or mother sparsh vardhan
