#asktheexperts my nipple got cracked... I am breastfeeding mom.. please give me solution for this problem.. my son is 2 months old.. it pain while feeding

I used to get cracked nipples a lot and the pain was unbearable while feeding... my mom told me to keep applying coconut oil while I wasn't feeding my lil one ...though it'll take a few days to heal but it worked wonders for me and I hope it'll help you too.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please apply nipcare ointment on the nipple you can use nipple shield to feed the baby e if the pain is more you can take Dolo 650 for relief pain also

Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you for reaching out to us with this question please note this is very common issue with breastfeeding and goes Away on its own it's just a matter of few days but you need to do is look and my nipple cream that you get at almost all medical shop or even online and applied as often as possible and over a period of time you will see that the pain will go away
