#AskTheExpert i have cracked nipple. cn I give breastfeeding from that nipple to my baby...my baby is 2months and 10days old

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. for cracked nipples , express some breast milk after every feed , apply it on nipples , air dry .wear comfortable clothing. if it's deep and painful do not feed from that side. consult gynecologist. keep on expressing milk

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. hi please do the following things: apply nipcare cream or freshly expressed breastmilk on it but always rinse it well before you start feeding wear loose fitting Cotton clothes use nipple shield for time being keep that area clean maintain good hygiene try different feeding position
